China Travel [22] The impression of newly opened Beijing Daxing International Airport - Part 2 (2019/10/12)

Exterior of PKX Airport
The wall of the airport is seperated from the passageway. One can look below through the gap.
The inside of the airport viewed from the outer passageway through the walls consisting of metal frames and glass.
This is an another snap showing the side glass wall. The glass seen on the right hand side seems somewhat to be curved.
This is the gap mentioned above.
Inside of the Airport
Ceilings and pillars have an organic seamless design, which are connected smoothly and continuously. I have not seen such a structure like this in other airport bulidings.
Suffucient numbers of escalators and elevators connect floors, which enables travellers move easily between floors. The ceiling becomes higher as approaching to the center of the airport, which means the heigh of the ceiling is lowest at the edge. As seen in these photographs, the ceiling consists of a lot of white color panels covering steel frames supporting the structure. You can look metal pipe frames through gaps between white covering plates.
This is a convinience store called "OurHours (Quanshi in Chinese).
This is a restaurant "Kangshifu" famous for beef meat noodles in China.
This is a small shop of a convinience store "Lawson".
A shop of MacDonald had already opened.
This is a coffee shop called ”Inchin Coffee”.
A duck meat based processed food shop called "Zhouheya".
A chinese convinience store "Haolinju（good neighborhoods）".
The Starbucks Coffee runs several shops in the airport.
A shop called "RELAY" selling chinese books etc.

An atrium between floors.
A guide display inside of an elevator, which display has shown a photograph of the airport having five arms. Since It is difficult to know the whole shape of the airport from inside, this photograph seems to have a meaning to let travellers' to know the whole image of the airport.
This photograph shows the ceiling connected seamlessly to pillars gradually lowered towards the outside wall.
In the 5th floor, I saw not a little numbers of shops have not opened yet.
This shop, in the 5th floor close to the center of the airport, also had not opened yet.
This chinese noodle shop "Jude Mianshe (Jude Noodles)" also had not opened yet.
A view of the side wall of the airport: pillars together with ceilings form an innovative and organic seamless structure.
A huge number of checkin counters: white color same to those of ceilings and pillars is used for counters.
Special glass plates cutting infrared light prevent the temperature rise inside of the airport.
Bakerly shop called "Croissant Village" serviing various kind of bread including croissant and drinks.
